Zenfest, Dallas, Texas 2001
We were at this outdoor rave for 13 hours. There were about 21,000 people there.
4:00pm – 10:00pm
We arrived early. It was hot. This thing was huge. There were 5 areas playing music. The main area featured Rabbit in the Moon among others…what a crazy show. The other large area featured Tiesto, Skylab, DJ Shadow and others.
We spent the most time here. The largest tent featured Drum and Bass all night the likes of DJ Rap, Dylan and others. Uberzone was there that night, so were the Bassbin Twins.
The home base for our team ended up being right next to one of the 8 EMS tents. Each tent was stocked with water, gurneys, coolers, cots, paramedics and at least one ambulance. This was surprising to us. We had never seen this much precaution taken.
We hung out, ate the food we had brought, danced some. Mostly just kept cool. We met some really great people. In fact, we met a girl who we’d see later that night. She was passing out pieces of “Dentyne Ice” gum to anyone who wanted some. We ate some and it was HOT. Man it freaked us out how minty it was. Well, right as she noticed out mouths were on fire, shegot on with why she was giving out the gum. She said the intensity of the gum sobered people up for a second so they could hear what she was saying. She wasn’t Christian, but she was against drug use. We gave her some flyers to pass out.
At one point, a dragonfly flew past my buddy and he decided to act like it was tied to a string he was holding. He started chasing it around and it really looked like he had a string attached to it. That and juggling with glow sticks later that night really got people’s attention. It got us into some great conversations.
Many of the kids were asking us for drugs. Actually, almost everyone that passed us was looking for something. We took every opportunity to try to convince them not to roll or drop or whatever it was they were gonna do.
By 9:00, the music got louder, the lights got turned on and everyone got crazier.
10:00pm – 12:00pm
The lines to buy water were huge. It was not so much a line actually than just an area to wait and take a step every once in a while. We took this opportunity tostrike up conversations. Everyone within 5 feet could hear what we were talking about, and kids on drugs like to talk. I talked to a kid about his brother dying from an overdose. This kid’s parents put the blame on the kid I was talking to cuz he was older. He started crying and admitted that he missed him and maybe it was his fault. I told him that God loved Him no matter what he did. Man that was intense.
We ended up waiting in line, talking to people, buying a water and go to the end of the line and talk to more kids while we drank the water.
We got talking to some other Christians who were passing out flyers. We talked and prayed. That was good.
We got talking with a kid who’s sister was a dealer’s girlfriend. He told us all sorts of stuff. He told us that Dealers have their girlfriends hold the stash while he makes the deals and then goes and hugs and kisses on the girl while he reaches in her pockets and gets the stuff. This way he’s not holding. He pointed her out to us. We asked him if we could pray for her and he agreed.
It’s really interesting. I don’t remember getting one decline when we asked someone if we could pray with them. We did a lot of praying.
This kid also told us ways to hide drugs so you can get them in even if the pat you down.
We hung out with him for a while. He felt alone. He was a good boy and loved his sister. He didn’t want anything to happen to her.
At one point, some cops passed by us and looked like they were focused on one kid which we assumed was a dealer. The kid saw them and reached into his pocket and threw his pills in the air. This caused everyone in the area to scramble like a piñata had just broken open. The dealer darted into the crowd and disappeared. I guess he got away.
During Tiesto, I thought they needed to turn it up, so I made my way back to the sound booth and suggested to the sound man that he crank it…especially the bass. He cussed me out. He told me I had messed up my ears and was tripping on drugs. Whatever. I hung out anyway, thinking that if he turned away, I’d reach over and crank the main levels.
Just a few moments later, Tiesto’s manager came up to me and told me I needed to tun it up. I guess he thought I was the sound man. I told him I wasn’t the sound man, but I had just told the guy to turn it up. He told me something about these guys are used to rock shows and don’t know what their doing. He went into the sound booth and did just what I was going to do, and the crowd yelled and screamed in approval.
12:00am – 1:00am
Things started getting crazy. We started hearing that some dealers on the grounds were selling bad rolls. We talked to the cops and they were pissed. We talked to the paramedics and they were pissed. We talked to the promoters and they were pissed too. We heard them make some announcements over the speakers, but it was too late. Everyone had already bought and taken their pills.
Even if there was a risk of bad drugs, some of these kids would have taken them anyway. We found that most of these kids were wreckless in their usage. We met a girl who was on the most ludicrous cocktail I had ever heard of. I think the list went something like: Meth, K, Acid, E, pot and I think she was drunk too. He said it was her birthday and she would take anything I would give her.
I think that might have been the first of a few times I cried at a rave. She K-Holed later that night. It was a bad scene. We stayed with her for a while, but she just wanted to dance, and we lost her.
When we met back up at our base, the EMS tent was full of kids. One girl had a migraine that was triggered by a second roll. One guy had peed his pants and was sleeping or something. Another kid couldn’t breathe, well, he was breathing, he was just convinced he couldn’t.
1:00am – 3:00am
We decided to hang out and pray for the kids in the EMS tent.
The thing that bothered me the most was something that happened at least 10 times that we saw. This was where a brother or boyfriend or best friend or sister would bring someone to the tent, tell the medics what drugs the person they brought had taken and then split. They would leave them in the tent by themselves.
We chased these people down and at first were nice saying stuff like: “Hey, don’t you think they need you to be there with them?” Then after a few of those people replied with, “No, man, I came to party!” We got upset.
I don’t think we yelled at these people, but I think it got pretty close. I just couldn’t believe that an older brother would bring his flipping out little brother and then leave him.
This changed the mood of the night. We became counselors in the tent and held hands of people who’s minds were racing or thought they were going to die. We prayed so much that night.
3:00am – 4:00am
This is when the big overdoses started happening. We saw seven ODs, and heard later that week of at least 3 more.
I had never seen this before. These kids couldn’t speak. They had no idea where they were. They couldn’t look at me for very long. They would suddenly try to stand up or start screaming. They were freaking out.
We couldn’t deal with this for very long, so we left the tent and began walking around the grounds. We had VIP passes because we knew the promoters, so we’d go into the VIP tent and take cases of water and hand them out to the kids who were dehydrating. There were many.
One guy we found in the middle of the dance area grinding the enamel off his teeth with his legs all twisted, his hands in a deformed freeze and his pants at his ankles. I asked him his name and he grunted at me through his teeth. I asked some kids to help me and they were like, “do you know him?” and I said no, but I needed help to get him to the EMS tent. One of them grabbed his arm so he wouldn’t fall while I unhooked his pants tangled at his ankles and completely wet from urine, and then when I was finished getting them off his ankles, there were a bunch of kids just standing there watching. Just staring.
This kid was trippin’ so hard, he couldn’t untangle his legs or turn his head away from the lasers and lights on stage (which admittedly were cool). I finally realized I had to walk him backwards so he could keep looking at the lights. Kids along the very crowded way just looked and pointed. He never got any better. They took him to the hospital. He probably didn’t come alone, But he’s gonna wake up alone.
We prayed so much that night. Just about everyone we talked to told us that they knew they needed God. They really wanted our help.
4:00am – 5:00am
We took the last hour to walk around the ground. We walked the fences and the outskirts of where the kids were. There were bodies everywhere. Not dead bodies, just sleeping bodies. We woke people up and asked them if they were OK. They all saw that we were trying to help. They all appreciated that we were there.
We were blown away. We had seen some of this before, but never at this magnitude.
It was hard to fall asleep that night.
Have a good day.
What do you think?
1. Ever been to a rave?
2. Do you know someone who has overdosed?
3. Does this story sound familiar?

Hey my name is Zane, and I was a promoter for this show. I ran all things Dallas that was ZEN. This is actually a very good recount of the way the party was. Being one of the largest electronic events ever in Texas, there are bound to be many stories like yours. Seeing geeked out people that could not handle the “fun” they prescribed themselves. I have to admit that I did X when I first started going to raves. I stopped after a friend OD’d and died from special K. Promoting raves was my job, and I did it as best I could. I lured the ZEN festival people here from FL to challenge the companies in Texas to bring biggest and best events here. I dont have to be messed up to listen to electronic music. I truly enjoy the vibe of the music. But I have to admit the crazy shit you see at these things are half the fun of the event for me. I also read your other posts about prospect and sugar. I went to both of those, and worked the sugar party. The prospect event was one of the larger ones ever held in the city limits of dallas. The venue provided permits which allowed promoters to book shows of that size. With the laws the way they are now, permits are not granted for shows this size. I have recently had the pleasure of having god in my life. I look back at these times and have nothing but fond memories. I cant remember anything that I regret about it.
I’ve never been to a rave..
but it sounds really sad
PLUR
if youre looking to have a good time and make friends,at least for a night, a rave is a great place to do it. you cant help every ignorant tripper out there. i go
to raves on e and i go sober. either way i am never bored.
they are not sad. the energy in a rave is unlike anything ive experienced. its like everyones energy and happiness is channeled into one place and you are connected with every single person experiencing this energy with you.
go to a rave looking for sadness and disaster, you will find sadness and disaster. go to a rave looking out for yourself and a good time, youll find it.
i live in dallas and have never been to a rave. how do u find out about these events? where are they usually?
I don’t know, In fact, I thought raves were dead.
Can i just say. Like seriously. Good on for helping these people, better people than many
chuck, thanks. I can only hope we helped.
siren, It’s true that if you are looking for bad you will find it. The truth is, we never knew what to expect. We just went in there looking for opportunities to make friends, hang out and just be aware of our surroundings.
Most of the people we met were in fact looking out for themselves, and ultimately, that was the demise of the scene, wasn’t it. How can one claim to be all about family and unity when they leave at the first sign of trouble.
The older ravers…the ones who had been raving since the early 90s…the ones before the tweakers took over…those were the ones who knew how to respect at a rave.
We met so many people who were disgusted by the was the scene was changing.
The drugs killed the scene. There could have been a scene still without the drugs.
Im from Australia, and Raves are still kickin over here although they are more “underground” now, any advertised “music festival” AKA rave, are patrolled bigtime by cops, including undercovers who sell & buy drugs at the event to catch ppl out, however there are privately organised raves that are rampid with drugs, you cant walk 2 feet without being offered some form of speed, ice,E,K,smacky, coke, gas…its up the individual to know their limits, and when your off your guts you are no longer in reality, so be strong and safe and above all LOOK AFTER YOUR MATES!! you’d hope theyd do the same for you…
Look after your mates. There’s some good advice. Thanks Dawn. Be safe.
What’s Gas by the way. And are people still doing the shuffle over there?
jorge
I’ve been listening to the music for years and it was always about the music and only rarely about the drugs although as a DJ you experience the scene heavier and better than the other kids and so you have a better appreciation for it.
I agree, Till. The DJ sees through different eyes.
jorge
I always go to lizard lounge in dallas…and over half the time im on e I love the feeling but also know the side effects if i dont take care of my self…..never do any drug alone…i always have atleast one sober person with me so that if something is happening to me that i dont realize they can help me. I also never do e unless someone else that has done is there..i take almost every precaution i can to make sure me and my friends are safe. But like you guys said you need to know your limits if you start to feel funny,…and you know something isnt right GET HELP dont continue dancing and partying.
aewood87, how can you tell when something is “funny”. Most people I know, by the time they realize something is wrong, they’re too high to keep a thought in their head for more than a second.
Do you know that the side effects of e is that you damage your seratonin factories? Which means that all those happy feelings you are having now…or feelings in general, could…and possibly might be gone forever.
Ask around your friends and find someone who took a LOT of ecstacy when they were younger. Ask them.
You are putting quite a bit of trust in the “sober” person you are going with. Have you ever been left behind?
Thanks for your honesty
jroge
Siren, I LOVE your comment, cause it’s so true!!! Everyone should read it! Raves are all about the people, the energy, and the music, NOT about drugs… But even if drugs are very common, which they are, you don’t have to do them. It’s all up to you how much you enjoy a rave.
No ive never been left behind and yes i know people who did it when they were younger…and their fine…some of the happiest people i know. All of us are like family so we take care of each other…i dont take enough e to make myself completely un aware of my surroundings…
Marq, I agree, and I’ve been to a few “drug-free” events. Great times. There was one that was a renegade in Austin where I had to get the directions at a record store on a little slip of paper, and the guy handing them out asked me a few questions before he handed me tha paper..including “Are you planning on doing any drugs tonight?”
One of the best events I’ve been to.
aewood, I’m glad things have always worked out for you. Just be careful.
Personally, I miss raves. Here in Texas (as far as I know) there aren’t any anymore…just house parties.
hey
so my older brother who is 24 by the way went to raves when he was 17, the same age as me. and i kno nothing about raves. is there an age limit? how do people find out about them??
Off the subject of the rave….if you are gonna roll and your worried about damaging your brain…you just drink or eat your vitamin c and that will prevent major damage. And yeah for the most part major raves have ended. It’s all gone underground to smaller rave like senarios at college parties and clubs.
You will still have permanent damage even if you drink a bunch of water and eat all the vitamins in your moms cabinet.

Been to quite a few raves up here in Canada. It can be super fun. It can also be super lame. I’ve never seen anything like what you’ve described here though.
Good on you for helping so many people out.
A comment on the drugs: with so many kids desperate to score a tab of e or anything else they can find, it makes a reasonable amount of sense for the promoters to ensure that the drug dealers attending their event are selling legit mdma… etc. Once you get sketchers selling crack and meth at your party, things go pear-shaped real fast–like what happened to you guys at your Tiesto show.
It really all comes back to the ludicrous criminalization of these drugs. Ease up on this and we’ll get fewer people selling homemade meth made from tylenol sinus and calling it e. Nasty-life-destroying shit.
I may have outgrown raves now, but they were once an important part of my life. They’re not all bad, but the big ones almost always turn out the way described here. Keep to the small raves, kids. Know your dealer. Get your drugs before the party. Always start with a half a tab–wait two hours and see. Or don’t take anything at all.
The drugs can be fun, but you gotta give them up sometime. It’s a part of growing up.

im sorry, but your a fucking pussy
you went to a rave, handed out flyers and bullshit like that, im surprised you didnt get your ass handed to you
when going to a rave you dont go to influence other people, you simply go to get high on extacy or cocaine and hook up with some random attractive chick
get over it, raves are ment for drugs..
Thanks for your comment Doctar Vodka. How’s that lifestyle working out for you?
We once convinced security to let someone back in who had been kicked out. She wasn’t old enough to drive, her friends were too high and busy looking for more “fun” to worry about the fact that she was going to be out in the parking lot by herself for 8 to 10 hours with no way back to her out of town home. She didn’t think I was a Kitty Cat.
If that one kid who we convinced not to candy flip with the stuff he had just bought from a known bad dealer hadn’t listened to us, he could have died that night. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t think we were lame.
That kid who was planning to kill himself later that night who we convinced that there was so much to live for and we saw the next week at another rave…I’m sure he didn’t think we were stupid.
That promoter who had no idea the kids were dehydrating because the venue owners turned off the water so they could make more money off water sales…I’m 100% sure he didn’t think we were a waste of space.
I would have given you a ride home or handed you water or called you on Monday when you were coming down and felt alone and all your “happy” was used up.
Doctar Vodka, you sound pissed off at something…more like someone. What happened? Did some Christian waving a Bible upset you or something?
what exactly is the point of this? this is not “what really goes on” at events like this, it is your perception of what goes on. it sounds like you are scared. i am glad you helped people out but you should get the religion thing out of your head before it permenantly stifles you. god is not in a book. god is everything. and even referring to it as “god” is a pathetic sign of limitation.
Isn’t it all perception? Well, everything is perception except truth. Truth can’t be relative.
You know, I’m not totally convinced that we really made any difference in anyone’s lives as far as telling them about Jesus…maybe some people.
I’m not scared for me, but for all those kids out there who were making what I perceived to be bad decisions.
I mean, if nothing else, those “bad” decisions ended up killing the scene.
Maybe the scene is not “dead” per se, but it’s definitely not like it used to be.
And your statement about the “pathetic sign of limitation”, does your belief not allow for that? I mean, wouldn’t you in essence need to allow for my belief that Jesus is God and God speaks through the Bible and everything is false except for what’s true?
I appreciate your comment, the dude.
What is it you think I’m “scared” of?
jorge
Raves are not meant for drugs in the way people are discussing it. Raves are for PLUR.
Peace, love, unity, and respect.
Think about what each of those mean and if you ever find yourself in a rave or rave environment it becomes very easy to understand. Drugs like ecstasy and shrooms make people feel very close to one another and very spiritual.
Drugs can make a good time an unbelieveable lifechanging night. You can go to a rave sober and love it, or you can go rolling and love it even more. On the flip side you can go rolling in a bad state of mind and hate it. It’s all about how you deal with what you are doing, sober or not.
Chris, your last statement is profound:
“It’s all about how you deal with what you are doing, sober or not.”
It’s really true.
Hey. Nice article.
I have been a raver for a few years now, and, like others, have experimented with drugs. Now, as an adult, I am much more responsible. I help to organize events in Phoenix, AZ along with my close friends and family. We have never experienced such a problem… I dont know what I would do if I saw these things happening…
I have to admit, a lot of our ravers are completely wasted during events, but we make it a big deal to post on every flyer that drug use will not be tolerated, and I try to sit down with at least one raver and talk to them about responsibility at every event…
Its all about the music… I just hope that the readers understand that not all raves are this scary, and that a lot of ravers are there for the music, the vibe, and the closeness of friends and family.

great article. raves are still going strong in uk.
i am now 26 and i have been going to underground raves for years now, to begin with i started on class C drugs to get me high while i rave out! now i cant go to a rave without a couple of pills and a few lines of coke.
I can’t imagine a raver who thought Christianity was ruining the world going into a church and asking people if they were okay, trying to convince them to stop being sheep, etc. Why go to a rave where people are having fun and try to get them to not do drugs? It’s their life choice, just like it’s your life choice to believe that God wrote the Bible. You might think they’re stupid for doing so, but you can just sit at home and watch the 700 club on TV.
1. Ever been to a rave?
Yes, I’m a raver at heart, and a christian before that. I stay clean at raves, because i freehand. How can I be an artist if i can’t remember my own name!?
2. Do you know someone who has overdosed?
Yeah.. terrible things. But its not unusual for them. My friend Renee tries for an OD atleast once a month. Hes insane, not in a good way.
3. Does this story sound familiar?
Very.
Sorry to double post, but I was just reading over the comments, and one stuck out as a bit sickening to me. Doctor Vodka, is that what you really think? The words “sex” “drugs” or “fight” arent anywhere in PLUR, the bit everyone should know before raving. Peace Love Unity Respect. How are you respecting anyone, or yourself even, by living like that?
Raves are like any other event. Raves are like parties, they’re like hanging out in someone’s basement. You can be stupid about it or you can be smart; it’s your own choice.
PLUR. Most ravers live by this. It stands for Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect. We’re all a family.
If you attend a rave, it’s like doing drugs, in it’s own way. If you’re nervous and paranoid and scared, of course you’re not going to have fun. If you’re looking for trouble you’ll find it. But it’s your decision. It’s everyone’s individual decision. If you want to try to save every kid out there that does some E and some acid, good for you, I’m sure you’re a help to them. It sounds like you were. It sounds like you were there to have a good time. But to the ignorant people out there, just stop. Become informed before you stick your nose somewhere it doesn’t belong.
A rave is like another life. It’s like visiting another planet and merging with everyone around you and all you can feel is happiness and music, and all you can see is beauty and light.
There’s nothing wrong with that at all.
raves r for elders duhh and cats like 2 go to raves
oh and so do elephants
haha
i like ur mom shes hot just like the ppl at raves wit their tops off
First of all DJ Rap and Uberzone did not play that night. No where are they mentioned on the flyer and I being good friends with Q from Uberzone would have known if he played that night. There are several inconsistancies in this story. For one, the weather was absolutly fantastic that day and night. It wasnt hot at all and thats coming from a guy who doesnt do well in the heat. And there were not any problems getting water so I dont understand what thats all about. Hate to call you out on some of these things but maybe your memory doesnt serve you right or something.
You’re full of shit man. Rap & Uberzone were not there.
JORGE I WANNA THANK YOU FOR CARING!:)
And Yes things like this do go on at big raves!!
i think more steps should have been takin to prevent alot of this from happening!!
1: raise the age limit to 21 and up!
2: on each flyer for a party make sure to print the real side effects for drugs taken at partys!
3: a preyer printed on each flyer with the lords name and bible versus!!
not saying this would prevent all but i think it would have helped alot!!:)
have a great day and thanks again cause i may have been one of the people you helped !!:)
and who cares if rap and uberzone were there thats means nothing maybe just got dj`s mixed up or something and the weather was hot that night i do remember clearly and i didnt even go!!:)
i believe all this happened cause i have seen simular incidents happen at smaller partys i could only imagine a party this big how many people were getting to messed up and acting fools!!
for you to just read one sentence and comment the whole paige is just ridiculas!!
thanks jorge!:)
Hey, sorry, maybe this was Electric Daisy Carnival or something. Who knows. I’ve forgotten by now. There were so many. Either way, it was put on by Ark Entertainment and was in a huge field close to Hillsboro (Dallas/Ft. Worth).
Thanks all for your comments.
Bless you Sevo
jorge
the is no love even compared to gods love!!
WHY DONT YOU TRY SOMETHING!
THIS IS HOW GOD TALK TO YOU!!
PREY TONIGHT! ASK GOD TO SHOW YOU THAT HE IS THERE WITH YOU AND LOVES YOU ASK HIM TO SHOW YOU A MESSAGE OR SIGHN!!
TELL HIM YOU LOVE HIM AND THANK HIM!!
ASK FOR HIM TO FORGIVE YOU!!
ASK HIM TO SAVE YOU!!
try this and c what happens pay attention the next few days and c if he talks back with a message!:)
THE MESSAGE IS THE FEELING YOU GET WHEN YOU SEE A SIGHN!:)
Actually, there was another group of Christians passing out flyers at this show. We were happy to see them. We met them on Tastyfresh.com.

First of all, I want to thank you for this post. It’s so good to see someone telling the truth about raves. I’m 25 and have been going to raves since I was 15. I can’t tell you how many E pills I have taken in my day, and I can’t remember how many times a rave I have been to has gotten out of hand. In your post , you didn’t mention one of the sadder parts of the rave scene. The rapes. People come to a rave to have a good time, whether it be for the music, the fellowship, the light shows , or the drugs, everyone is looking for something. Many times a girl gets taken advantage of. I can’t tell you how many stories I’ve heard and personal experiances I’ve had , Girls who come to these parties and get wasted on whatever they can get their hands on. I’ve seen it happen so much, and have stopped it many times as well. There are always dark corners, or chill spots at raves, and girls get lured into these areas for whatever reason and get raped, but they are so high that they don’t realize whats going on. Everyone knows what E does to you sexually, and these poor girls cant control their minds and bodies while all of the intense sensations are happening. My experiance happened when I was 17 and 3 guys pulled me into an empty bathroom and gang raped me. I was aware of what was going on but couldn’t fight them off. They left me there. Alone.
Someone came in and found me, and I told them what had happened. They contacted the promoter of the party and we looked for the guys , but since I was in such a messed up state of mind, I couldn’t tell who it was. I continue to go to raves to this day ( my last one was this Saturday) but now instead of going for the drugs ( sober since 2004 ) I go to see old friends and hear my friends dj’ing. I still follow the rules of PLUR and always check on people. Lately when I’ve been going I’ve been seing more and more people that I have known for years withering away to nothing. It’s sad really. I am shocked to see how much of the originally party drugs being replaced with rampant meth use. I think that is killing more people than E and Special K ever did. I hope that one day the scene wakes up and realizes that people don’t need drugs to have a good time at a rave.
My friends and I wanna throw a party “RAVE” but we have no idea were we can throw this type of party…….we live in Anaheim CA in an apartment complex and we can’t have that type of party here so we are looking for some type of warehouse for rent in Anaheim ca if anyone knows anything about a warehouse for rent I be more than happy to know some information!
IVE BEEN RAVING NOW FOR ABOUT 5 MONTHS NOW; NOT VERY LONG. AND I HAVE DONE XTC SIX TIMES. THE MOST PILLS IVE TAKEN IS 3. I DONT PLAN TO GO OVER THREE NOR DO I WANT TO DO THAT SAME AMOUNT OF PILLS AGAIN. RAVING IS A LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE; YOU DONT HAVE TO BE ON E OR ACID OR ANY TYPE OF DRUG! JUST BEING THERE THE ENTIRE ATMOSPHERE MAKES YOU FEEL HIGH. IVE BEEN TO RAVES SOBER AND FIND THEM TO BE MORE FUN ACTUALLY!! BECAUSE U TRULLY ENJOY AND APPRECIATE THE MUSIC AND THE PEOPLE WHO CREATE IT. BUT THERE ARE SOME RAVE GO-ERS THAT ONLY GO FOR THE DRUGS AND THOSE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT ARE RUINING OUR SCENE. WE HAVE TO LIVE BY PLURR; PEACE LOVE UNITY RESPECT AND RESPONSIBILITY. DO NOT TAKE XTC IF YOU CANNOT HANDLE IT AND PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELF ON WHY XTC MAKES YOU FEEL THE WAY IT DOES AND ITS DANGERS. I FEEL A BIT GUILTY EVERY TIME I HAVE TAKEN IT BECAUSE I KNOW HOW BAD IT IS FOR MY BRAIN AND BECAUSE I AM SO YOUNG [17] ITS EFFECTS ARE WORSE. THATS WHY I DO IT SO SPARINGLY.SO PLEASE BE SAFE AND HELP OTHERS OUT WHEN THEY ARE NOT RESPONDING WELL TO ANY TYPE OF DRUG. PLURR<3
The thing about raves is that they can get quite frightening. thats why we ravers have a common motto “plurr” the last r standing for responsibility. When i go to raves i take E and i have the time of my life. Everyone hugs kisses loves each other. I personally am a Christian and i have never had a more religious experience then one at a rave. Ive met some of my best friends there and one rave saved my relationship with my boyfriend. The sad thing is people who have serious drug addictions attend raves and go over board, but anyone with common sense knows how much they can handle. RAVES ARE NOT SAD. and if you ask most people they attend these celebrations to feel peace love unity and respect for who you are. WE are modern day hippies and we love to rave
Most modern-day christians are total DICKS who stick their noses up and think they are better than everyone else because they put $30 a week in the basket at church (that way the church can spend $50,000 on a sound system so everyone can listen to some 12 year old trust-fund brat sing “hello dolly” every sunday)
Sounds like you guys did your homework and were extremely hospitable to real people in need of help.If all of these GOP christian assholes nowadays were more like you guys ,the world would be a much more beautiful place.
I was a raver from 92 til 2002 ,and i agree the tweakers ruined it.
good job tho
